Omni PDF Unlocker is designed to process your documents on your device, without sending the PDF contents to Chang Studio.

Overview

Omni PDF Unlocker is a document utility developed by Chang Studio. It does not require an account and does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. The app processes PDFs locally on your device.

PDF documents

The app reads only files or folders you choose through the operating system’s file picker or permission interface. Unlocking, adding protection, and writing output files are performed on the device. PDF contents and passwords are not uploaded to a Chang Studio server.

The app creates a new output file or output folder. You control where it is saved or which app receives it when you choose to share it.

Files, folders, and platform permissions

Single-file mode uses the file access granted when you select a PDF. Batch mode needs access to the input and output locations you choose so it can read top-level PDF files and write results.

On Android, batch mode may ask for broad file-access permission because Android requires that permission for this folder-based workflow on some versions. The permission is used to access the locations involved in the batch operation. You can revoke it in Android Settings.

Depending on the platform, the app may retain a local path, URI, or system-provided reference to a folder you selected so the workflow can be restored. This information stays in the app’s local storage.

Settings and local app data

The app stores preferences, such as workflow settings, and may cache your Pro entitlement status locally. This data is used to operate the app and is not used to build an advertising profile. Removing the app normally removes its local data, subject to the operating system’s backup and restore behavior.

Purchases

In-app purchases are offered through Apple App Store, Google Play, or Microsoft Store. The store processes payment and account information under its own privacy policy. Chang Studio does not receive or store your full payment-card details. The app receives purchase and entitlement information needed to activate or restore Pro features.

Diagnostics provided by platforms

Apple, Google, or Microsoft may provide developers with aggregate store statistics or diagnostic and crash information according to your device and store settings. Such reports are controlled by those platforms and may include technical details such as app version, device model, operating-system version, or a crash stack trace. Chang Studio uses available diagnostics only to maintain and improve the app.

External services and links

If you choose to rate the app, visit a store page, share a file through another app, or email support, you leave or interact outside Omni PDF Unlocker. The destination provider handles that activity under its own terms and privacy policy. Do not email confidential PDF files when requesting support.

Accounts, advertising, and tracking

Omni PDF Unlocker does not provide user accounts, display third-party advertisements, or use third-party analytics SDKs. Chang Studio does not sell personal information collected through the app.

Children’s privacy

The app is a general-purpose document utility and is not directed to children. Because it does not provide accounts and does not collect PDF contents through a Chang Studio server, Chang Studio does not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app’s features, platform requirements, or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised when a material update is published.
